According to family history, the Count family were titled Dukes in France, then titled Counts then they immigrated to England.
Supposedly, there was a curse placed on the family where when the oldest child was 7 years old, the father would die. Until myself, the first born had been male. I am, again supposedly, 7th generation of this curse
My grandfather died from heart disease while my great-grandfather supposedly died from a horse kicking him in the head (no death certificate found on him yet to collaborate story).
I have researched the cause of this curse, & learned from different sources it still exists but has been severely weakened. The cause? Supposedly (there is that word again) greed & one of my ancestors finding & using a book of spells, which (going to use that word) supposedly caused the death of a child.
I have been told that the way to completely break the curse is to find the book & make amends to the family that was cheated out of money.
Would love to find the book & family that was wronged by my family.
To that wronged family, on behalf of myself, I am sorry for the wrong done to your ancestors by my ancestors.
